FITNESS CENTER

The Uniontown YMCA Fitness Center offers a clean, modern, and supportive environment where members of all fitness levels can pursue healthier lifestyles and personal wellness goals. Equipped with a variety of cardio machines, strength training equipment, and functional fitness areas, the Fitness Center is designed to accommodate beginners, experienced athletes, and everyone in between. Members are encouraged to work at their own pace while enjoying a positive and motivating atmosphere.

Our Fitness Center provides opportunities for individuals to improve cardiovascular health, increase strength, build endurance, and maintain overall wellness. Friendly staff members are available to assist with equipment usage, answer questions, and help members feel comfortable and confident during their workouts. The YMCA focuses on creating an encouraging space where every member can feel supported in their fitness journey.

At the Uniontown YMCA, fitness is about more than exercise — it is about building healthier habits and creating a stronger community. The Fitness Center serves as a place where individuals can stay active, reduce stress, and improve their overall quality of life while connecting with others who share similar wellness goals.

FREE WEIGHTS

The Uniontown YMCA offers a dedicated free weight area designed to help members build strength, improve athletic performance, and achieve their personal fitness goals. Featuring a variety of dumbbells, barbells, benches, and functional training equipment, the free weight area provides opportunities for both beginners and experienced lifters to create effective strength-training routines. Whether you are looking to increase muscle mass, improve balance and coordination, or enhance overall fitness, our free weight area provides the tools and flexibility needed to support your workout journey in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

WEIGHT MACHINES

Our selection of weight machines provides members with a safe, effective, and user-friendly way to build strength and improve overall fitness. Designed to target specific muscle groups, these machines offer guided movement patterns that are ideal for individuals of all experience levels, including those new to strength training. The Uniontown YMCA’s weight machine area allows members to work toward their fitness goals with confidence while enjoying a comfortable environment focused on proper technique, injury prevention, and long-term wellness.

CARDIO MACHINES

The Uniontown YMCA features a variety of modern cardio machines designed to help members improve cardiovascular health, increase endurance, and maintain active lifestyles. Equipment options include treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, rowing machines, and other cardiovascular training equipment suitable for all fitness levels. Whether your goal is weight management, improving heart health, increasing stamina, or simply staying active, our cardio area provides a comfortable and motivating environment where members can work at their own pace while supporting their overall wellness goals.

NOTE BOARD

Fitness Center/Weight Room Policy:
Fitness facilities are available to individuals age 13 years and older. (Fitness facilities include cardiovascular center, free weight room, and selectorized resistance training circuit). Appropriate workout clothing and shoes must be worn at all times. (Appropriate clothing includes shirt and shorts or appropriate for exercise pants and shoes). Absolutely no horseplay will be tolerated. Courtesy to other members and guests is expected. You must wipe down the pieces of equipment you used as you move from one machine to another.

Membership will be at risk for continued infractions of policies.
